Frank Catania, President and principal of CGC, is an attorney and partner in the New Jersey law firm of Catania & Ehrlich, P.C.  Mr. Catania’s expertise stems from his years of service as Assistant Attorney General and Director of the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement, an internationally recognized gaming regulatory agency responsible forinvestigating and prosecuting all licensing, civil regulatory and criminal matters involving the New Jersey casino industry. He also served as Vice President and Compliance Officer for Players International, Deputy Speaker of the New Jersey General Assembly, partner in the law firm of Catania and Harrington, and counsel to the Law Offices of Catania & Associates.

Mr. Catania currently serves as one of three independent directors of e-Commerce and Online Gaming Regulation and Assurance (eCOGRA), a non-profit player protection and standards organization that provides an international framework for best operational practice requirements, with particular emphasis on fair and responsible gambling.  He was a founder of the International Masters of Gaming Law, a non-profit association dedicated to the education and advancement of gaming law, and the served as its first president. He also served as the vice chair and chair, respectively, of the International Association of Gaming Regulators, and as past chairman of the Forum of American Casino Regulators.

Mr. Catania has been published on a wide variety of casino gaming and government-related topics in several national publications, regional newspapers, and trade publications. He was instrumental in drafting the interactive gaming regulations for The Mohawk Territory of Kahnawake, Antigua’s interactive gaming regulation revisions, and the interactive gaming regulations for the Canadian Provinces of Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. Mr. Catania has been an advocate for the regulation of Internet gaming, and has testified before the United States Congress and State legislatures.

Mr. Catania is a member of the board of directors of Nevada Gold, and Continent 8. He has also been selected by “Best Lawyers in America” for gaming.  He is a graduate of Rutgers College and received his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law.
